Danielle stars as a tattoo artist in Irish answer to The Hills

ONE of the stars of the Irish version of The Hills will be working as an apprentice tattoo artist in one of the capital's best-known tattoo studios.

The Herald can reveal that Danielle Robinson, from Waterford, one of the stars in the upcoming reality show Fade Street, will be pursuing her artistic side as a tattoo artist in what is quickly becoming one of the most famous studios in the capital.

The parlour has been chosen by producers for the brunette model to learn the craft from some of the best names in the business.

"There is still not a whole lot being revealed about the show. They are keeping things very under wraps," a set insider said. "But with shows like The Hills and Jersey Shore being so popular over in the US right now, I don't see why it wouldn't translate over here."

The show is following a similar format to the original programme of MTV's The Hills, which followed California girls Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port as they interned in Teen Vogue magazine as they embarked on a new life in Los Angeles. It also starred Heidi Montag. Two of the other cast members will be interning at Stellar Magazine, a record company and another will be trying her hand at fashion buying for an Irish label.
