SHE shot to prominence after trying out for a presenting gig with TV3's Xpose -- now model Daniella Moyles has landed a new presenting gig with RTE.
Daniella (21), who was a runner-up in the Miss Ireland contest in 2007, is set to make a name for herself as the face of a brand new adventure series.
It rules her out as a possible replacement for Sean Munsanje, whose contract with TV3 is not being renewed.
The brunette beauty will spend the rest of the summer travelling the length and breadth of the country as she reports on all the latest extreme sports and music festivals.
The model will also have the opportunity to travel to venues throughout Europe to film scenes for the programme.
"I can't say too much about it but I am working with RTE at the moment on a new show that's due to air in the autumn," she said when contacted by the Diary.
As a result, Daniella has put her previous plans to jet over to LA to visit fellow model pal Ruth O'Neill on ice for the moment.
The model will instead spend the summer filming her new TV series before returning to Galway, where she is studying for an Art's degree at NUIG.
"I won't be doing any of the trips I had previously planned for the summer as I'm going to be so busy with work," she explained.
"I'm more than happy though. I'm still doing some modelling as well and Assets have been great about working around my schedule when it comes to accepting jobs."
