Cunningham says cheese at ISPCC event

LIGHTS, camera, action has more than one meaning for Dublin actor Liam Cunningham, it seems.

The Game of Thrones star is also a passionate photo-grapher in his spare time, the Diary has learned.

"Liam is a really keen photographer so he loves to take shots of everywhere he travels," said a friend of his.

The actor took time out to support National Portrait Day, a fundraising initiative sponsored by Canon Ireland which aims to raise funds for the ISPCC.

The campaign kicks off on Saturday and will run until April 5, allowing members of the public to have a pro- fessional portrait taken for only €25 with participating photographers around the country.

All funds raised from the campaign will go directly to the ISPCC.

Cunningham, who stars as Davos Seaworth in Game of Thrones, will be in Dublin tomorrow to attend a special screening of the Belfast-made drama.

He will be joined by co-stars Michael McElhatton and Kristian Nairn for the special night at the Light House Cinema in Smithfield.
