COULD this be the second coming of Sinead O'Connor, after an immaculate conception in the style stakes.
The normally frumpy singer has been restored to her former glory in a look that had gig-goers agog in Dublin last night.
Sinead looked 10 years younger and two stone lighter as she stepped out with Gavin Friday, close pal of Bono, following his performance at the Olympia in front of a star-studded audience.
The Nothing Compares 2U star wore a sexy black leather coat with fur collar and a fuchsia pink handbag.
The once-troubled 43-year-old was all smiles for the cameras as strolled with Friday to the exclusive after-party in trendy hotspot The Kitchen.
The mum-of-four, who has been barely recognisable over the past months, looked radiant with a freshly shaven head and make-up.
Sinead recently told the Herald that she is loving life and feels good about herself again.
"The hair went because I wanted to get back to being me," she said. "I've lost weight as well because I've come off the medication I have been taking for almost eight years."
U2 frontman Bono was expected to turn up at the concert to cheer on Friday, who performed with Bray-based O'Connor for cheering crowds.
