Clint's daughter won't make Romney's day

CLINT Eastwood might be Mitt Romney's biggest supporter, but his daughter isn't paying any heed.

Francesca Eastwood has revealed that she won't be voting for the Republican US presidential candidate.

When asked if she would be backing Romney next month, she replied: "I happen to be voting for a different man."

Father Clint stunned August's Republican National Convention with a speech that was described as bizarre and incoherent, overshadowing Romney's own speech as the main talking point.

Some political analysts said at the time that the outburst against President Barack Obama ran the risk of derailing Romney's campaign.

Obama laughed off the incident saying Eastwood was "a great actor and an even better director" and brushed aside the speech by adding: "If you're easily offended, you should probably choose another profession."
