Claudine warms up for Euro 2012 with a fortnight at home

SOCCER WAG Claudine Keane is to warm up for Euro 2012 with a two-week break at home in Dublin.

The mum-of-one will jet home from Los Angeles for a break before cheering on husband Robbie in Poznan.

This will be the first time that the 28-year-old has been back to these shores in a number of months -- and she's looking forward to recharging her batteries ahead of all the soccer excitement.

"She can't wait to come home, she's really excited," said a pal. "She loves living over in LA and is building up a good network over there, but she's a home bird at heart and loves spending time with her family.

"She and her mum, Joan, plan to enjoy a few good nights out together before she flies over to support Robbie in the Euros."

The fun-loving model, who is mum to son Robbie Jnr (three), has said she couldn't be prouder of her other half and can't wait to soak up all the atmosphere in the forthcoming campaign.

Moreover, she won't be stuck for company, given the throngs of fellow WAGs who are heading over to cheer on their other halves as they endeavour to do their country proud in Poland, with the first game against Croatia on June 12.

In what came as good news to the wives and girlfriends, manager Giovanni Trapattoni confirmed that they were more than welcome to join the players in the forthcoming campaign.

He said that Keane and his players were free to booze and spend time with their other halves -- as long as they didn't "overdose on it".

Also expected to be cheering on the team from the sidelines is Damien Duff's other half, Elaine, who gave birth to their first son, Woody, last year and is a constant attendee at his games.

Other supporters will include John O'Shea's other half, Yvonne Manning, who walked down the aisle with the Manchester United player in June 2010 at a ceremony attended by stars including Coleen Rooney.

Goalkeeper Shay Given's stunning wife, Jane, has also confirmed that she'll be attending some of the forthcoming clashes and will be bringing along their two young children, Shayne and Sienna.
