Claudia Schiffer is pregnant with her third child, the supermodel has announced.
Schiffer, 39, and husband Matthew Vaughn, the British film producer and director, already have two children - Caspar, six, and Clementine, five.
The German model married Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels producer Vaughan in 2003 and immediately decided to start a family.
"I thought, 'I have the right man, I'm going to have kids right away, let's not waste time'," she has said.
One of the original supermodels, Schiffer remains as in demand as ever and was hired as the new face of Yves Saint Laurent in 2008.
Pregnancy has been good for her figure, she claims.
"I love being pregnant. You can do whatever you want. You don't feel guilty, because I used to feel guilty about having a day off.
"And, you know, something really strange happened to me. Before my pregnancies, I was someone who had to watch their weight. I had a personal trainer, I was working out, I would never eat anything sweet. Anyway, I got pregnant and when I was breastfeeding it just came off. I can eat whatever I want. If I don't eat enough I will lose weight."
Last year, Channel 4 presenter Kirstie Allsopp complained that bumping into the perfectly-groomed Schiffer on the school run - their children attend the same London establishment - presents certain challenges.
"There is a certain person whose child goes to my child's school and I've never seen her looking anything but immaculate," said Allsopp, explaining that paparazzi regularly lie in wait outside the school.
"A friend said, 'The photographers are not there for you,' but they're not going to say, 'We won't take your picture, Kirstie, because you rushed to school looking God-awful, harried and hot.' They still take the odd snap."
