Clarkson laughs off affair rumours on family break

TOP Gear star Jeremy Clarkson continued a Caribbean holiday with his family today after allegations that he had an affair with a blonde emerged.

Clarkson, who was enjoying a Mother's Day lunch with his wife of 18 years and three children, shrugged off the claims of an affair, joking: "I'm surprised to find that I'm the new Tiger Woods."

The motormouth TV presenter faced claims he had a fling with a blonde colleague who had been working with him on the Top Gear live tour.

But friends insisted it was business as usual for the Clarksons.

The 50-year-old said he had enjoyed a "lovely lunch" with wife Frances and their kids for Mother's Day. And a pal added: "He's stunned by these claims."

Clarkson is said to have been seen with the unnamed 42-year-old woman several times while on the Top Gear Live tour.

In Australia the pair reportedly shared a villa together after flying to the luxury Hamilton Island resort.

They were also said to have spent time at the Palazzo Versace hotel in Surfer's Paradise -- used by ITV for I'm A Celebrity...

Clarkson was said to have been spotted feeding the woman salad by the side of a pool at a hotel in South Africa. And it was claimed that at the end of last month in Norway he spent the night with the woman at Oslo's £500-a-night Grand Hotel after kissing her on the lips in public.

Clarkson has been married to 49-year-old Frances -- also his manager -- for 18 years and they have children aged 12, 15 and 16.
