An Irish schoolgirl spent hours chatting with Cheryl Cole when she landed a role in her new L'Oreal ad.
Kildare student Kellie Anne Purtill won an online competition to star alongside the Girls Aloud singer last week. After being whisked to London for a full makeover, Kellie Anne was shocked when she got to spend time chatting with the former X Factor judge.
Speaking to the Herald, Kellie Anne (17) admitted that Cheryl was exactly how she expected and revealed that the pair had plenty in common.
"I was nervous flying over to the shoot in London last week, I was hoping that she would be what I thought she would be and she was. She was so nice, she spent time with me on her own and we chatted for ages in between shoots.
"Her security guards kept saying time was up but she wanted to stay talking, which was so nice. I was really nervous before shooting the ad and Cheryl made me feel way more confident," she explained.
Leixlip native Kellie Anne will be the first ever Irish girl on a L'Oreal Paris commercial, when the new hair colouring campaign airs next month. And thanks to co-star Cheryl, we will be hearing a very thick Irish accent in the new advert.
Kellie Anne said: "Cheryl overheard me trying to do the English accent and she told me to keep my own Irish accent because I was there to represent Ireland."
