Charlene goes 'skinny' for Denim Day

Top Irish actress Charlene McKenna will be donning her favourite skinny jeans next week for the launch of Denim Day 2011.

The Raw star is backing a campaign being run by the Irish Youth Foundation and BT2.

From October 19-21, the Grafton Street store will donate 50c for every download of their new BT2 Destination Denim App towards the Aisling Project, run by the IYF in Ballymun.

Charlene will be kickstarting things with a photocall on October 18.

Among those who have confirmed are RTE commentator Brent Pope alongside actor Risteard Cooper, who will be MC-ing the event.

Other guests will include Bernard Jackman, Shane Byrne, Neil Francis and Hugh Cahill alongside TV3 stars Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin.

Proceeds will go towards the Children's Sunshine Home & Laura Lynn House, Ireland's first hospice for youngsters.
