Celebs sparkle on Krystle dancefloor after VIP Style Awards

THE glamour stakes were raised as celebrities hit the dancefloor into the early hours after the VIP Style Awards.

The champagne was flowing as Ireland's biggest stars celebrated in Krystle nightclub.

Boyzone singer Keith Duffy, who was the MC at the glamorous event, continued his night out on the town and was seen drinking with pals, including The Voice coach Brian Kennedy and trainer to the stars Paul Byrne.

And there was no shortage of catwalk queens either, as new mum Sarah McGovern, Rosanna Davison, Karena Graham, Hannah Devane and Hayley Ryan added some extra sparkle to the bash.

But it was a sober night for Kildare girl Tiffany Stanley, as well as Roz Purcell, who played the "designated driver" for the evening -- thanks to an early photo call on Saturday morning.

After walking the red carpet with her new beau Gerry Scollan for the first time, Daily Show host Claire Byrne couldn't keep her eyes off her current flame at the party.

While a number of guests took to the dancefloor, the RTE broadcaster avoided the crowds.

Claire stayed chatting at the bar with Gerry and her good pal Daithi O Se, who turned up solo, for a couple of hours as things got underway.

Insiders said that the two men get on "extremely well" and that Kerryman Daithi is delighted that his co-anchor will have a date for his upcoming summer wedding to Rita Talty.

Meanwhile, loved-up couple Cian Healy and Holly Carpenter were seen cosying up in the VIP suite.

While the rugby player admitted to being out of his comfort zone at such a glitzy affair, the Leinster prop, who enlisted the help of his teammates for his outfit, seemed to ease into the formalities of the evening.

The Clontarf native stayed close by his Miss Ireland and made the most of his time off from the field.

Cian was given the night off from the Blues Rabo Direct Pro12 clash against the Ospreys to enjoy a "rest week" following Ireland's Six Nations bid. "Cian played every Six Nations match so it was decided he should take a week off to relax and recover," Holly told the Herald.

Natasha Giggs also stopped by the celebrity haunt.

Fresh from her appearance on the Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy, the brunette beauty sipped cocktails with model Michele McGrath and Desperate Scousewives' Layla Flaherty.

On a flying visit to the capital, Natasha said she was thrilled to be in the capital and would love to come back for a proper weekend later this year.

Despite catching up with new friend Michele, Natasha did not get to see her former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Georgia Salpa. Killiney native Georgia did not attend the awards due to commitments in the UK and a scheduled fashion show in Cork on Saturday.
