SHE is one of Ireland's top chefs and now Catherine Fulvio has got the nod from Britain for the second time.
Catherine was delighted when she was asked back onto top BBC cookery show Saturday Kitchen, which is watched by 3m viewers.
It is the second time in six months that the TV personality and author will appear on the show after proving a hit on the St Patrick's Day edition last March.
Catherine, who runs the award-winning Ballyknocken House & Cookery School in Wicklow, will join chef James Martin live on the popular weekend food programme.
The brunette will be joined by chef Ashley Palmer-Watts and JB Gill from pop group JLS, who faces his food heaven or food hell.
And Catherine is keeping it local with her choice of ingredients – Dillisk or Dulse Irish seaweed, which will feature in her dish of the day.
"The biggest challenge for me is selecting the recipe that will shine and be a crowd-pleaser," explained Catherine. "With over 3m viewers it's impossible to suit everybody's palate but I'd like to give it a good shot."
