Caroline's first role as married woman has a fatal attraction...

CAROLINE Morahan will take a trip down the red carpet in Cork for her first appearance as a married woman.

Last September saw the full-lipped beauty trying the knot with her long-term beau Daithi O Caoimh at a romantic ceremony in the Italian city of Siena while wearing a Kathy de Stafford gown.

But now it's back to the day job for the TV presenter-turned-actress, who plays a 'bunny boiler' named Helen Bartlett in a short film entitled I Can't See You Anymore, which filmed in Ireland last summer.

The curtain will rise on her new project at the Cork Opera House on Saturday, November 17 as she turns on the glam for the premiere of her flick, which was produced by Blinder Films.

Telling the story of a psychotherapist named Aidan Clifford who wakes up from a coma after an accident and tries to deal with the consequences of his actions, Caroline (35) plays the part of the scorned lover.

"It's got a plot reminiscent of Fatal Attraction in that I play a person who is quite unhinged by an extramarital affair. The married man who gets involved with me has no ideas as to the depth of my feelings, until he tries to break it off with me," she explained.

The Drumcondra native has been dividing her time between Ireland and LA recently as she continues to pursue her career as an actress. A busy time for the former Off The Rails presenter, she has finished worked on new film What About Love, which stars Hollywood legend Sharon Stone and Andy Garcia. In a case of art imitating life, it sees her taking on the role of a TV presenter.

She also also finished work on two other films, Mother Hen and Lionhead, as she garners more experience in the acting trade. The face of Littlewoods Ireland obviously has no intention of taking her foot off the pedal.
