Caroline swaps Tinseltown for O'Connell St as she joins line-up

HOLLYWOOD wannabe Caroline Morahan jetted back into Dublin to join a glitzy line- up of celebs for the Sex and the City premiere.

The girls got out in their gladrags to pay tribute to their four favourite fashionistas in the Savoy Cinema last night.

The movie has been booked out for weeks by fans eager for the next instalment from the New York gals.

Former Off the Rails star Caroline has been living in LA for the past year and has already committed to working on a number of TV projects.

The slimmed-down presenter said that she was home to attend the weddings of two of her best friends before returning to Tinseltown.

The brunette beauty has been attempting to pursue an acting career in America for the past year, however she was remaining tight-lipped as to whether she will be returning to her former employer RTE or whether it will be with TV3, for whom she recently presented the Cosmetic Surgery show alongside Dr Robert Rey.

Caroline joined TV stars Lorraine Keane, Michelle Heaton, Sybil Mulcahy and Colette Fitzpatrick at the eagerly awaited event.

Tara Sinnott, Michelle Doherty, Mairead Farrell, Georgia Salpa, Nadia Forde and Sara Kavanagh enjoyed canapes and cocktails at the Gresham Hotel before the movie kicked off.

Afterwards they were presented with an exclusive goodie bag full of girlie products.

Meanwhile, Sarah Jessica Parker opted for a hat created by Irish designer Philip Treacy at the London showing.

She paid tribute to the tragic fashion guru Alexander McQueen as she swept stylishly into the UK premiere.
