Caroline Morahan has certainly been making the most of her visit home from LA.
The Diary can reveal how the former RTE star spent the bank holiday weekend in the south of France, where she attended the wedding of a close school friend.
Caroline (32), who returned to Ireland from Hollywood almost two weeks ago to step out to the Sex and the City 2 premiere at the Savoy, attended the bash in the exclusive resort of St Tropez.
The glamorous beauty is believed to have attended the wedding with her long-term beau, investment manager Daithi O Caoimh, whom she has been dating for more than two years.
It was a flying visit for the former Podge and Rodge star however, given that she is due to return to the States in the coming days to begin filming on a new acting project.
The slimmed-down media personality has been staying determinedly tight-lipped about her future TV plans since returning home, after her last venture as co-host of TV3's Cosmetic Surgery Show failed to set the world alight.
Caroline also had the chance to catch up with her good pal Laura Woods while in France, given that she and her husband of almost a year Mark Arigho were also there holidaying.
Laura explained how she and her architect hubby are also friends with the newlyweds, given that she went to school with the bride.
The couple had to miss the actual wedding ceremony and reception, as it clashed with another close friend's nuptials.
The smitten pair, who are expecting their first child, jetted out to France on Sunday morning instead and are planning to enjoy an extended break before returning home at the weekend.
Laura (33), who is due to give birth in November, told the Diary how she plans to put her feet up and relax for the rest of the week, as it will more than likely be her last sun holiday before the baby's arrival. She said: "It was nice to catch up with Caroline over here, we're both friendly with the girl who got married so it was a good excuse for a reunion."
Laura, who works as the entertainment correspondent on Will Leahy's 2FM radio show, says that she won't be slowing down too much over the summer month's despite her pregnancy.
The bubbly blonde has just begun writing her own column for RSVP magazine, with her former The Cafe co-host Aidan Power lined up to be her first interviewee.
