Buble jets into city and pokes fun at Kim

Canadian crooner Michael Buble will be jetting into Dublin this Friday to do the honours at a special pre-Yuletide event.

The multi-platinum-selling artist has taken time out from his busy schedule to switch on the Christmas lights at Grafton Street as well as unveiling Brown Thomas Dublin's Christmas windows.

Always heralding the start of the busy festive season, RTE's Ryan Tubridy will be hosting proceedings and, this year, the windows will draw inspiration from ballets such as The Nutcracker and Swan Lake.

Later that night, Michael will be dashing off to Donnybrook to be one of the guests on the Late Late Show, where he will be revealing all to Tubridy about life as a married man.

He'll also be performing two tracks from his chart-topping album called Christmas.

But don't expect to see Buble hitting the town afterwards to work his charm on the ladies of Dublin.

Last May he broke hearts all over the world after he walked down the aisle with Argentine model and actress Luisana Lopilato.

The newlywed star hit the headlines this week after poking fun at Kim Kardashian (left) in the wake of her 72-day-long marriage to Kris Humphries.

The singer was performing at New York's PC Richard & Son Theatre, when he announced to his audience: "Ladies and gentleman, I have a very special guest. Please welcome Kim Kardashian!"

This naturally prompted a collective gasp from the crowd, so the Canadian singer quickly made it clear that he was joking. "Nah, just messing with you. That b**** isn't coming on my stage."
