Bring back live kids' TV – Holly

THIS Morning presenter Willoughby (32) kickstarted her career on youth shows such as Ministry Of Mayhem and CD:UK.

Live shows such as Tiswas, Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, Saturday SuperStore and Going Live! are seen by some as representing a golden age of children's TV and helped launch the careers of the likes of Chris Tarrant, Noel Edmonds and Phillip Schofield.

The Voice host Willoughby said: "I do think it's a shame there's no live Saturday-morning children's TV any more. Most presenters now – me and Reggie Yates, Fearne Cotton, Phil Schofield, Cat Deeley, Ant and Dec – came from kids' telly. So you do wonder where the next generation will come from."

Willoughby added that she would love to act in a period drama such as Downton Abbey or Mr Selfridge.
