BOD and Amy lead celebs at film premiere after honeymoon

Brian O'Driscoll and his new wife Amy will be making their first public appearance since their marriage at a celeb-packed movie bash in Dublin this evening.

The happy couple, both 31, flew back from their honeymoon in Tanzania over the weekend and are clearly wasting little time in tackling their social commitments.

They were back in time to attend a pal's wedding last Saturday and were pictured looking tanned and relaxed following their African break where they enjoyed a beach and safari adventure.

The Herald can reveal how Brian and Amy, who got hitched at a ceremony in Leitrim on July 2, are among the big name guests who are expected to attend tonight's premiere of Grown Ups at the Savoy cinema.

Some of the movie's leading actors are also flying in for the premiere, including American funnyman Adam Sandler and his side-kick Chris Rock as well as Kevin James and David Spade.

Other names on the list include Sarah Bolger, RTE's Kathryn Thomas, some of the cast of new TV series Camelot and Cork crooners Crystal Swing.

This will be Brian and Amy's first high-profile event in Ireland since their nuptials at Lough Rynn castle at the start of this month. The two-day bash was attended by many of our best-known rugby stars as well as many of actress Amy's showbiz friends like Victoria Smurfit and Chris O'Dowd from The IT Crowd.

All the stops were pulled out to ensure the €70,000 ceremony was an affair to remember, with more than 250 guests attending the bash.

Pint-sized Amy looked stunning in a gown from Myrtle Ivory boutique in Dublin with shoes from Cocobelle in the Royal Hibernian Way.

The pair tied the knot at a ceremony at St Joseph's Church at Aughavas before heading to Lough Rynn for a weekend of partying with their closest family and friends.
