Birthday girl Kylie eclipses stars at Glamour awards

A HOST of A-list stars rocked their best frocks for last night's Glamour Awards.

Birthday girl Kylie Minogue -- who turned 44 on Monday -- led the way in a shimmery gold dress.

Hollywood star Jessica Alba showed off a floor-sweeping black frock, while designer Donatella Versace also wore gold with daughter Allegra in tow.

It was all white on the night for Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden and model Kelly Brook.

Modern Family's Sofia Vergara rocked a figure-hugging red gown while Eva Longoria turned up in a simple orange number.

Some were a little more daring -- Penny Lancaster wore a short purple dress while Katherine Jenkins, fresh from her success on Dancing With the Stars, wore a multi-coloured tight number.

Other stars who were also at the awards included X Factor winners Little Mix, Glee star Lea Michele and actress Naomi Watts.

Stars of The Voice, Jessie J, will.i.am and Danny O'Donoghue attended the evening with their respective acts.

Celebrating 25 years in the business, singer Kylie was presented with an Outstanding Contribution gong at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards.

US star Kelly Rowland, who has left a vacancy in the judging panel of the X Factor after quitting the show, won the TV Personality title.

Amanda Holden was named best Theatre Actress for her role as Princess Fiona in Shrek The Musical.

Other winners at the London bash, hosted by Graham Norton, include This Morning and The Voice host Holly Willoughby for Best Presenter.

Downton Abbey star Jessica Brown Findlay (Lady Sybil Crawley) won top UK TV actress award while her co-star Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary) took the Editor's Special award.
