TV beauty Sile Seoige was due to be reunited with her RTE colleague Jenny Buckley this afternoon for a belated birthday celebration.
The high-profile pair were set to show off their communication skills with a talk on mountaineering, before heading further afield to toast Sile's 32nd birthday, which fell last week.
The Montrose personalities had to delay the celebrations until now, because Galway presenter Sile has been filling in for Tom Dunne on his Newstalk show for the past two days.
And Jenny says the pair, who first bonded while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro alongside Kathryn Thomas last September, can't wait to share their knowledge with those taking off on the charity trek this autumn.
"Myself and Sile are going to be getting up in front of 160 mountaineers in the Great Outdoors shop to talk to them and give them a bit of advice about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro," she said.
"We'll be telling them all the do's and don'ts and hopefully will be able to answer any questions they might have.
"I'm really looking forward to having a catch up with Sile because I haven't seen her in a while," Jenny added.
The bubbly blonde went on to explain how her new Howth-based stage school, Star Stage, is going from strength to strength.
Jenny, a former student of the Billie Barry stage school, says she's already contemplating expanding her new business venture.
"It's all going great, it's keeping me really busy. We'll probably do a summer school because there's been a lot of interest."
