THEY could get used to this. FM104 stars Jim-Jim Nugent and Mark Noble are getting the red-carpet treatment ahead of their opening DJ set for Robbie Williams at the Aviva Stadium tonight.

The Strawberry Alarm Clock presenters said they were excited but terrified at being booked for the hour-long set. They will be playing floor-fillers to get everybody in the mood for pop prince Robbie and his support act, Olly Murs. But it won't be a case of get in and get out.

"It's weird – we're getting a dressing room and there is food for us. We're allowed bring a few guests each and we'll be back stage," Jim-Jim said.

"I don't know whether we'll get to meet Robbie and Olly, but we've met them before, so they might remember us. We're hoping he'll ask us to come help him get ready," added the radio and TV presenter.

Tonight marks the first time Jim-Jim and Mark have been asked to cover such a gig. "It's kind of terrifying, but I am really looking forward to it."

However, there will no after-party for Jim-Jim, who will head straight home to his wife, who is expected to give birth to the couple's second child next week.

Jim-Jim will be also be among the stars of new Channel 4 TV series Trojan Donkey, which starts later this month.
