Arnotts to unveil new autumn/winter Farhi collection

- FASHIONISTAS will be beating a path to Arnotts department store on Henry Street next weekend when the new autumn/winter collection from Farhi by Nicole Farhi makes its debut.

The collection will be showcased on Saturday afternoon with an exclusive fashion show on the first floor of the store at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Models from Assets agency will be on hand to provide inspiration for customers for the season ahead.

- YUMMY mummy Sharon Corr, whose debut solo album Dream Of You is flying off the shelves, has been added to the line-up for The Music Show.

The event takes place at the RDS in Dublin on October 2 and 3 and will see big names from the music industry, including Bob Geldof, Steve Lillywhite, Newton Faulkner, Louis Walsh, Andy Gill and John Reid, giving seminars over the weekend.

The Music Show is presented by Hot Press and takes place in association with RTE 2fm.

Tickets for The Music Show are available from www.ticketmaster.ie and are priced at €12 (one-day pass), €16 (weekend pass) and €28/ €36 (family pass 2 adults & up to 4 children).

- VIP guests of department store Brown Thomas will be blazing a trail to the Grafton Street store this evening for a special invite-only evening of shopping, champagne and music with culinary delights in the Living Floor of Brown Thomas Dublin.

- LISTOWEL local Catherine Keane scooped the Chic Boutique Best Dressed Lady title at the Listowel Races last Friday in front of 27,000 racegoers.

It was a case of Lady In Red as Catherine wore a red Quinn & Donnelly dress and coat along with a headpiece she made herself and Next leopard print accessories.

Catherine received a €1,500 spending spree in Chic Boutique, while runners up Geraldine Walsh and Sharon Heffernan were the recipients of a €500 and €250 Chic Boutique spending spree respectively.

- ART lovers will be out in force on Thursday for the launch of Stephen Lawlor's new exhibition at the Oliver Sears Gallery on Molesworth Street.

A number of select guests have been invited to attend the gallery for a private viewing between 6pm and 8pm.

The exhibition will run until Thursday, October 14.
