Ryan Tubridy's girlfriend Aoibhinn ni Shuilleabhain must be taking some tips from her other half about winning over audiences.
The former Rose of Tralee has proved she's not just a pretty face, scoring some respectable ratings for her new RTE show The Reel Deal.
Now in the middle of its Friday evening run, the programme has clocked up an average of 150,000 viewers for its last four programmes, an 11.2pc share of the available audience.
"We are very happy with The Reel Deal figures," a station spokesperson said. "The share is exactly the same as other traditional music shows like Come West Along the Road and Fleadh Ceoil which are in the same slot this year."
Described as an "upbeat traditional music series" with a contemporary twist, the show features rising performers on the trad scene.
Stunning Aoibhinn co-presents the show with fellow newcomers Brian O'Connell and Blathnaid ni Dhonnchadha, another rising star in RTE.
The former pageant winner, voted our sexiest female presenter in a poll, has revealed how she was bitten by the showbiz bug through stints on shows like The Panel.
"The first show I did was Questions & Answers and I was pretty nervous, but at the same time, they had me on as a student voice, so I felt confident enough that I had something to say.
"Towards the end of that year, I was asked to guest present Cartai Poist. That was my first real taster of having my own show. But still I went to London and I'd no aspirations."
She continued: "It was only when a producer of The Panel asked me to do a few shows as a panellist that I thought maybe I'd like to do this a little more."
