Aoibhinn shows off some Mad Men chic at science lab

BETTY Draper ain't got a patch on this one. Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain (27) delved into decades past for some style influence last night.

Channelling the Mad Men look, the TV presenter rocked a beautiful vintage-style frock last night, complete with ruby-red heels, which matched her bright red pout and earrings.

Known for her long tumbling tresses, Aoibhinn decided to pin up her long hair which was gathered at the back in a mass of curls.

Former teacher Aoibhinn sported the new look as she attended an evening reception of 'Risk Lab' at the Science Gallery in Trinity College last night.

The former Rose of Tralee – who is in a relationship with RTE broadcaster Ryan Tubridy – happily tried out a number of experiments and challenges at the lab for it's opening night.

Aoibhinn's love of science is well known. She has presented two series of the popular Science Squad for RTE.

And last October, she co-authored A Neutron Walks Into A Bar.

She is currently studying for her PhD in mathematics and was ambassador for the Dublin City of Science in 2012. If the characters of popular science nerd comedy Big Bang Theory were to meet her, they would probably fall in love.
