Anaemia to blame as Holly absent

Pregnant Holly Willoughby has pulled out of This Morning because she is anaemic.

The 30-year-old has been absent from the ITV1 show, which she co-presents with Phillip Schofield, for the past two days.

Willoughby, who also missed Dancing On Ice on Sunday because of migraines, was expected to return to This Morning today.

Speaking from her home, she said: "I feel much better. I just felt really unwell on Saturday so I went to the hospital to have some checks done.

"I'd managed to make myself quite anaemic I think... and I think the headaches were because of that."

Willougbhy said the medication she took for the headaches made her sleepy - meaning she slept through This Morning.

Willoughby, who is married to TV producer Dan Baldwin, is expecting her second child in May.
