Alison still stunning as the big day nears

BLOOMING model Alison Canavan showed off her bump yesterday when she travelled to Punchestown for the final day of the Oxegen celebrations.

The gorgeous catwalk queen, who is seven months pregnant with her first baby -- explained how she had been invited to attend the festivities as a personal guest of MCD boss Dermot Desmond and his other half, Caroline Downey.

Dressed to impress in a pair of tight black trousers, a black top and a sparkly white waistcoat, Alison told the Diary how she had been appointed designated driver for the evening in order to allow her two pals to enjoy a couple of drinks.

The Casteknock beauty was determined that she wouldn't be pushing herself too hard by going to see too many bands, however, spending most of the evening in the comfortable surrounds of the VIP area.

"I just decided to come down at the last minute after being offered the tickets by Dermot Desmond," Alison explained. "When I saw that the sun had come out for the last day, I thought 'why not?'

"I'm actually full of energy now that I'm getting near the end. I'm really excited about giving birth. I can't wait."

It's been a busy weekend for the brunette beauty, who was among those who stepped out to the Miss Universe Ireland pageant at the Wright Venue on Friday night.
