After the races, I like to let my hair down and relax

WE will let our hair down and go out tonight after the Gold Cup.

It is always a good night because the racing is over so everyone can let the tension of the week go.

Usually we end up staying in the weigh room until quite late because you will have the winners, the jockeys, the trainers and the owners in there talking about the week and just relaxing.

We will probably go into the city centre, so this will be like a work night out where everyone can have fun, because racing people do work so hard and have very unsociable hours.

We will leave Cheltenham tomorrow and I am looking forward to getting home to where we live in Ratoath, Co Meath and seeing my children, Órlaith (2) and Síofra (8).

But there is no rest for Barry, because it is a Bank Holiday weekend so there will be a lot of racing on.

He is racing in England on Saturday and then he is back in Ireland on Sunday, so it is pretty full on.

After a long week, I will just have a quite weekend with my children and take it easy.
