After a year of dating, Amanda Byram finally stepped out on the red carpet with her new boyfriend, Londoner Julian Okines.
The Castleknock native had remained tight-lipped about her new man’s identity until she introduced him on the Late Late Show on Friday night.
Her TV producer beau admitted he loves his gorgeous girlfriend’s home country.
“I’ve been a few times but I’m really falling in love with it. The more I come back the more I enjoy it,” he told the Herald.
“It’s so good to be home, I don’t get here that often and it’s just a joy for me,” Amanda added.
Amanda (41) has reinvented herself as a fitness guru and revealed she will launch her range of workout gear.
“There’s loads of things coming up. I’m actually going to LA in a couple of weeks but I’m really focused on Byram- Bod at the minute.
“It’s a brand that’s just exploding and taking on a life of its own,” she said.
“It’s been amazing and I’ve got a fitness clothing range coming out in a couple of months, it’s kicking off.
“It’s all go in the Byram household,” she added.
She also said that the response to her new website, amandabyram.com “has been incredible” and said she has received hundreds of emails
from female fans across Britain, asking her advice.
“It has been very inspiring to be honest because when I started this I was doing it for me and I didn’t really think anybody really cared what I had to say about it.
“But the response has been so amazing and overwhelming,” she said.
“I’ve been getting letters and emails from girls with anorexia and body dysmorphia, and, while I’m not qualified, I can impart a little advice about body issues that I had growing up.
“If I can help one girl that makes all the difference,” she said.
Amanda was speaking at the Pride of Ireland Awards which were held at the Mansion House last night.
