MAGICIAN Keith Barry has revealed how he has a very special Christmas present coming his way this year, a new baby.
The talented star told the Diary that he and his wife Mairead are expecting their second child, and the baby is due in December.
"Yeah I'm really looking forward to it, she's not due until December, though so it's a good bit away yet," he revealed.
The Waterford illusionist announced the news this week and has also been celebrating the fact that his sell out show, 8 Deadly Sins, will take to the road next year.
Keith will now tour Ireland in January, just one month after his new baby is born.
"We're going to take the show on tour in January. I won't be home every night but I will try to get home most nights.
"I can always spend the day at home and jump in the car for whatever gig I have that night so it won't be too bad. Once I'm in the country, that's all that matters.
"There are a couple of options open to me before Christmas. I haven't decided yet what I'm going to do, but I could go to Australia or go back to Vegas and I also have some TV opportunities in the UK, but at the same time I might just stay here," he said.
Meanwhile, the Barry family will be taking a well deserved break over the coming week.
Keith and Mairead are planning to take their daughter on a holiday around Ireland, before he pops over to New York for a quick gig, bringing his family along.
