WE had the other half of EL James in our midst over the weekend as the author's hubby flew to Ireland.

Fellow author Niall Leonard was spotted out in celebrity haunt Lillie's Bordello after coming over here to promote his new tome, Incinerator.

He signed copies of his latest book in Eason's before hitting the Grafton Street haunt for a private book party.

Although she wasn't with him, his wife – the woman behind 50 Shades of Grey – clearly got into the Irish spirit, tweeting her delight at Ireland's win in the Six Nations.


The writer said: "Congratulations Ireland. Great match."

Meanwhile, Saturday night saw the Library of the VIP bar entertaining a raucous group of revellers.

Familiar faces included Fair City's George McMahon alongside fellow soap stars Ciara O'Callaghan, Aisling O'Neill and Celia Murphy.

Downstairs in the members bar, The Hobbit fans were thrilled to spot Irish actor Aidan Turner (pictured) having drinks with friends.

The Clondalkin hunk, who plays Kili in the film trilogy, is currently enjoying some time off as he catches up with family and friends while between projects.
