FROM Dublin's mean streets to the Asian jungle, jet-setting Aoibhinn McGinnity has a fun summer ahead.

The Love/Hate star has just wrapped up filming on the fourth series of the hit crime drama, but it is all go as she prepares her best German accent for her latest acting role before heading off on a girls holiday to Thailand.

Aoibhinn, who plays gangster's moll Trish in the IFTA winning show, has landed a part in Cecelia Ahern's upcoming German production My Whole Half Life. Once that wraps in July, she's is off to sunnier climates.

"That finishes and then I go off with my friend Denise to Thailand for a few weeks," the excited star told the Diary. The Monaghan native is looking forward to relaxing and soaking up the rays on the Asian islands but she also has more adventures in the jungle in store. It will be the first time for the 27-year-old actress to hit Thailand. "I haven't a clue, I am getting my vaccinations in case I end up in a jungle lost somewhere," laughed Aoibhinn.
