Recruiter sees boost in Irish job market

RECRUITMENT company Hays is taking on an additional 40 graduates to manage a surge in the Irish job market.

Hays said that it expects a 40pc increase in the number of employees it places in 2011 compared to 2010.

The graduates will work in offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway.

Hays will be looking to fill 500 recruitment positions worldwide including the 40 positions earmarked for its Irish offices.

Hays will hold a recruitment event at the Chartered Accountants House, Pearse Street, Dublin, on Monday, March 28, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, which it said was aimed at meeting an "unprecedented increase" in demand for positions.
