Eircom seeks 375 staff

Eircom has announced plans to hire up to 375 people through graduate and apprentice programmes over the next five years, with an intention to keep "top performers" on permanently.

The move will mainly target technician and technical support roles and is part of an €18m investment in new staff, according to the company's chief executive, Richard Moat.

The new jobs will be divided into annual intakes of 75 apprentices and graduates over five years, according to the company.
