Editorial: Cash levy is outrageous
How dare Justice Minister Dermot Ahern suggest the solution to tiger-kidnaps is a levy on anyone wanting to use cash.
We are already paying billions to bail out banks. In addition, we pay charges on every bank transaction.
It is more than outrageous that a minister should ask us to pay yet another charge to get our own money out of bank ATMs.
