She may have had a sprained wrist, but it didn't stop Lisa Madden, Miss Universe Ireland, from showing off her golf skills in Miami.

The brunette beauty lined out with her fellow contestants in a blue polo shirt and white jeans for her tee off yesterday.

"What a fun day at Trump National Doral Golfing. Had such a great time," she wrote online.

Living it up in Florida hasn't fazed the dentistry student, who seems to be adapting to a life of luxury.

The contestants - who will battle it out for the coveted crown on January 25 - have been touring the city of Doral in the sunny state.

Donald Trump's luxurious golf resort is providing the backdrop for the gathering of the world's most beautiful women.

Earlier in the week, the 22-year-old also enjoyed some time on the golf course, revealing that Donald Trump himself "quizzed me on my golf skills" and her hometown of Cork.

The brunette has been keeping her followers informed on her trip by sharing snaps of her glamorous time in the states over the past week (inset).

"Thanks to everyone for the amazing support. Ye are the best," she wrote online.

While some might think that pageants such as Miss Universe are outdated, Lisa believes that they are not "anti-feminist".

"I just look at it as a celebration of women. I think it's about embracing women," she said before jetting off to the sunshine state.

"I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I think it's a great experience - you get to go away for three weeks and meet girls from all corners of the world," she added.
