It's been a wonderful festive season and now I'm all set for a really busy year ahead with The Voice of Ireland and the S Club 7 reunion tour.
I spent Christmas with my family and friends and it was just so nice not to have to rush in the mornings and just relax.
It was our first Christmas with our daughter Minnie. so that was really special and Amelie (4) is old enough now that she gets really excited about Santa and everything so it was a lovely time.
I'm dying for The Voice to start on Sunday - I've seen little clips but I'm looking forward to watching the auditions again because there was so much banter and a lot happening that you forget things, so that will be fun.
The teams are looking really great now - filming the Battles section was the last thing we did and the talent is very strong so it'll be interesting to see what happens in the live shows.
Choosing between my own acts during the Battles was very tough but when you get to that part of the show you can see which contestants will do well, because you get to see them in a bigger arena with an audience and you see which ones step up a bit more.
It is so difficult at that point having to pick between the two, because they all work so hard and they form relationships with each other - it's really difficult because it's their dream so it's always going to be a really hard part of the show.
It's going to be harder when we get to the live shows but in a way I think it's a good test for them because this is the business they want to be in and you do get so many knock-backs and you are putting yourself out there to be judged.
I'm also really excited about the S Club reunion tour which starts in May and I really hope we bring the show to Ireland.
We start rehearsals in early February and I'm really looking forward to getting creative with the tour.
I think that's the best thing as an artist - touring and live performances - I can't wait for it.
We did keep in touch with the gang every now and again over the years but it was so great getting back together for the performance for Children in Need.
That was brilliant fun and it was like we had never been apart really - all the in-jokes coming back and spending time together was great.
