Singer Leanne Moore is currently starring in the Jack and the Beanstalk panto and admits she's loving working with her former You're A Star mentor Keith Duffy.

The Boyzone singer was drafted in to play the baddie in the Limerick panto after Twink left the show in November.

"Boyzone was the first concert I ever went to and it was in the my hometown of Limerick - and he remembers that gig, which is kinda cool," she told the Diary.

"Then he was also my mentor on You're A Star so I'd met him then as well - that was year when they split everyone up and the judges took four acts under their wing.

"At the time, he did give me tips and I remember being well chuffed that a member of Boyzone was my mentor," she added.

While Keith was previously her coach, she admits it's nice to work with him as a co-star now.

"It was nice to work with him in that capacity where you were a contestant and he was a judge and now in the panto where we're just hanging around, having lunch and getting to know everyone which is great," she said.

While she's currently starring in the panto, Leanne (30) is also in girl band Lir, with model and former Industry singer Michele McGrath and former Voice of Ireland contestant Kim Hayden.

The glamorous trio have entered the Eurosong contest in the hopes of representing Ireland at Eurovision in 2015 but Leanne hopes they will continue to make music even if they don't get through.

"Myself, Michele and Kim are definitely going to do stuff together anyways because it's been working great between us and we have a nice mix," she said.

"Hopefully it'll work out but you just have to give these things a try," she added.

As she's starring in panto in her home town, Leanne enjoyed some family time over Christmas.

"My sister lives there, and she just had a baby, he's only three months old and it was his first Christmas so it was very special," she said.

Although, while she was enjoying her time at home, she misses her boyfriend, Tallafornia star Dave Behan.

"I miss him a lot, it's only three weeks but it's hard," she said.

Dave runs his own gym in Greystones called Go Gym and the blonde beauty admits that he has been a brilliant influence on her.

"I'm in the works to open up my own personal training studio so I'm excited about that.

"And Dave is great, he's such a help, she added
