Dublin Bus teams up with Herald for big Ticket Thursdays bonanza

DUBLIN Bus is giving customers the chance to buck the recession with discounts in various stores throughout the city.

The 'Ticket Thursdays' offer returns today and will continue every Thursday for the rest of the month.

On 'Ticket Thursdays', bus users can avail of 72 exclusive offers from 30 outlets.

Some of the city's leading retail, food and cultural outlets will offer Dublin Bus pre-paid ticket holders discount and concession rates on food, clothes, music, and activities.

Shoppers can get 20pc off at United Colours of Benetton, 20pc off in Tie Rack and 10pc off in Quiksilver, in Stephen's Green Shopping Centre.

Muji on Chatham Street is giving 10pc off and there will also be 15pc off in Champion Sports. Chapters bookstore is also giving a 10pc discount.

And if you're looking for a bite to eat or a quick coffee, Bewley's on Grafton Street is giving a 10pc discount.

But it's not just shopping addicts that will get the best bargains.

Culture vultures will have the opportunity to get discounted tickets for the Dublin Wax Museum Plus, Dublin Bus City Sightseeing Tours, GAA Museum and many more.

To get these offers, present your Dublin Bus pre-paid ticket at participating outlets.
