Doesn't suit Roo, Aertel!

WE have always viewed RTE's teletext service, Aertel, as a media organ that plays a straight bat when it comes to disseminating information. No hidden jokes, no double entendres, just the news as it happens.

So what do we make of this week's headline on one of their soccer items? "Rooney ready to play away from home" we are helpfully told.

After last night, presumably, Aertel have already updated the above to read "Rooney scores away." Boom boom.
