A Dublin man who was jailed earlier this year for causing the death of his best friend by dangerous driving has been further sentenced for pulling a knife on a man after an early-morning drinking binge.
Joseph Robinson (26), of Cuffe Street, pleaded guilty to affray and production of a knife during a dispute at Deerpark Lodge, Tallaght, on May 17, 2014.
Last January Robinson was jailed for four-and-a-half years dangerous driving causing the death of Alex Doyle (25) on June 8, 2014. Yesterday Judge Pauline Codd suspended a two-year sentence for the earlier offences.
