CROATIA, Ireland's first opponents at the Euro 2012 finals in just 15 days time, began their build-up to the finals with an impressive 3-1 win over Estonia in a friendly last night.

Vedran Corluka put Croatia in front after just 16 minutes in Pula last night and striker Nikola Kalinic made it 2-0 inside the 20th minute.

Ognjen Vukojevic scored a third for Slaven Bilic's side on 81 minutes, and Estonia could only net a late consolation goal from Konstantin Vassilijev seven minutes from time.
