COMIC actor James Corden has been confirmed as host of the 2014 Brit Awards – but it will be his last stint as presenter.
The star (right) will return for the fifth time when he fronts the show on February 19, making him the longest-serving presenter of the annual event.
This year's show, to be staged at the O2 Arena in London, will feature appearances by acts including Arctic Monkeys and Katy Perry.
Corden, recently seen portraying singer Paul Potts in the movie One Chance and in BBC series The Wrong Mans, has presented the event on three previous occasions on his own, and in 2009 with Mathew Horne and Kylie Minogue.
He said: "I really love the Brits. I'm such a fan. I'll miss not doing it after this one, but I fully intend to enjoy every second of Brits 2014."
Arctic Monkeys were nominated for the Mercury Prize for a third time for their fifth album, AM, which topped the charts shortly after its release.
