Communications: 100 jobs to be made by US telecoms firm
US telecoms group Genband is due to create 100 jobs in its new international headquarters in Galway.
The company is due to invest €8m in its international HQ and business services centre in Galway.
The jobs will be in finance, supply chain management, customer support, software development, HR, legal and administrative activities.
"Ireland's breadth of high-quality, skilled human resources made Galway an ideal setting for our expansion, particularly when combined with the region's competitive cost structure and leadership as a telecommunications corridor," Charlie Vogt, CEO and president of Genband said.
