Coca-Cola profits fall

DRINKS manufacturer Coca-Cola reported a 78pc fall in profits, mainly due to more than €11.5m in restructuring charges.

The Irish arm of Coca-Cola recorded just €953,000 in profits compared to €4.4m the previous year. Revenues fell by 13pc to €212.8m, according to accounts filed with the Companies Office.

Coca-Cola HBC Ireland restructured its business through the year, resulting in 130 redundancies.
