Cancer study gives us hope

A LANDMARK breast cancer study may see future generations of Irish women avoid harmful and unnecessary treatments.

Researchers in the UK have now discovered that breast cancer can be split into a dozen categories, which may enable doctors to give more specific treatments. Around 2,500 new cases are diagnosed here every year. The importance of this study cannot be underestimated.
