Buy locally says ISME

BUSINESS group ISME is calling on consumers to buy locally to safeguard local jobs in the run up to Christmas.

ISME chief executive Mark Fielding (right) said consumers should see 'buying Irish' as an investment in the country, safeguarding jobs in their local communities.

"When there is a boost in spending on Irish products and services we maintain and grow more jobs, resulting in more prosperity in our communities," Mr Fielding said.
