The man was arrested with the empty box. He has previous robbery convictions.

Dog teams join search for Sian

Specialist dog teams were being drafted in today in the search for missing nightclubber Sian O'Callaghan.

English police have revealed they are "very close to identifying" her whereabouts.

Search experts have been examining specific "hotspots" within the 4,500-acre Savernake Forest in Wiltshire.

Police revealed earlier this week that phone masts put Miss O'Callaghan's mobile phone somewhere in the 4,500-acre forest just 34 minutes after she left Suju nightclub in Swindon at 2.52am on Saturday.

Houdini aide

dies aged 103

Dorothy Young, the last surviving stage assistant of illusionist Harry Houdini and an accomplished dancer, has died aged 103.

She died at her home in New Jersey. Young joined Houdini's company as a 17-year-old after attending an open casting call during a family trip to New York.

She initially sat in the back because she was too shy to step forward, but Houdini and his manager soon noticed her and asked her to dance the Charleston, and then signed her up.
