Brady set for Canaries move after transfer fee is agreed

Norwich

ROBBIE Brady will complete his £7m move to Norwich City in the next 24 hours after Hull boss Steve Bruce approved the sale of the Ireland international, writes Aidan Fitzmaurice.

Hull were reluctant to lose Brady but the transfer fee - earning Hull a £5m profit on the Dubliner - was too good to turn down while Brady could not refuse the chance to play in the Premier League again, following Hull's relegation.

"The two clubs have agreed a fee for Robbie," said Bruce, who omitted Brady from Hull's travelling party for a pre-season game in Austria so he could complete the deal.

"We have given Robbie permission to go and speak to Norwich. I envisage that deal to go through. I want to thank Robbie for his efforts as he has been a terrific player for us. It's sad to see him go but most people will understand that when you get relegated these things happen."
