Boden's Bs all set to sting in semi-finals
BALLYBODEN have a B in their bonnet, and plenty of oil in the engine.
It's the Ballyboden St Enda's second team and they have advanced to the semi-final of the OZO Dublin Senior 3 Championship semi-final.
They'll have home advantage at the lovely Sancta Maria in Rathfarnham next Sunday morning.
The quarter-finals are being played tonight.
But Boden avoided that little scrum by topping their group. They were unbeaten, having overcome Naomh Fionnbarra and St Mark's, and drawing with Lucan Sarsfields.
Managing the side are Robbie Lambert, Trish Cantwell and Dolores Greene, and the excitement is building on the Firhouse Road.
Boden are having a fabulous season. They are also still in the mix for the league.
"We have a wonderful set of players. The girls are so dedicated," says Boden Brave, Noelle Comyn.
"We have some very talented young players and a few like myself who have that bit of experience!
"We are all enjoying it. We are tipping away nicely and we had a good day at the Kilmacud Sevens on Saturday.
"It's nice to have the home venue, and we are hoping for a good support. The club have really got behind us. The management team have put a lot of time into this.
"It will be a tough semi-final, no matter who we meet. Semi-finals always are, but we'll give it our best shot, and we'll see what happens."
