SHEFFIELD United will try to bring former U21 cap Aidan White to the club on a permanent basis after the winger impressed on loan, writes AIDAN FITZMAURICE.
White, 22, has only played once for the Blades since he dropped down to League One on a two-month loan deal but boss Nigel Clough is pleased with the player and hoping for a longer-term deal.
"We haven't ruled out doing something with him beyond January," said Clough, who is still waiting to secure an agreement with Irish midfielder Keith Fahey.
The former Birmingham City man has been training with the Blades for the last month after recovering from surgery and he scored in a reserve game last week but he has yet to sign on a deal at Bramall Lane.
